Mario Party Advance is a unique action-adventure game released in 2005 by Nintendo and developed by Hudson Soft, bringing a new breeze to the Mario Party series with a focus on single-player mode on the Game Boy Advance system.

The game takes you on an exciting adventure through many small levels and diverse challenges, where you control familiar characters such as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi, moving through the game boards and exploring the colorful world of Shroom City.

Different and interesting gameplay

Unlike previous versions in the Mario Party series, Mario Party Advance focuses mainly on single-player mode. Instead of the traditional multiplayer mode, you will move through the game boards, roll dice, use items and participate in a series of unique mini-games to progress in the game. Players need to collect mini-games and Gadgets by completing tasks assigned by the residents of Shroom City.

Each turn requires you to overcome challenges to maintain the number of Mushrooms, if you run out of Mushrooms, the game will end. The mini-games bring fun and challenging moments, helping you collect more Mushrooms and discover interesting gadgets such as the Morse code generator or the love meter. This innovative gameplay system creates a novelty, completely different from the same series.

Engaging storyline

The story begins when Bowser and Koopa Kid destroy the Party World, causing all the mini-games and gadgets to be scattered throughout Shroom City. Toad then gives the player the task of collecting everything back and restoring peace to Party World. To achieve that, you will have to help the city’s residents, complete interesting tasks and face challenges caused by Bowser.

Although the game focuses mainly on single-player mode, it still offers a memorable adventure journey, with humorous and engaging details. The light-hearted storyline, combined with mini-game challenges, creates a colorful and engaging entertainment experience.

Diverse utility system and game modes

In Mario Party Advance, you not only participate in mini-games but can also interact with more than 120 different utilities invented by Professor E. Gadd, from interactive items to interesting tools to assist players in the process of exploring Shroom City. In addition, some mini-games and utilities also support multiplayer mode via the Game Boy Advance Link Cable, providing the opportunity to compete with friends on the same device.

The game also includes a paper game board for multiplayer, combined with a game cartridge to roll dice and participate in mini-games, providing an interesting interactive experience in real life.
